Someone to talk to…..

Posted: April 18, 2017 at 12:55 am   /   inspirational

In my pursuit of starting my own online business. I realize that though I have the passion, it is not a simple task. Realizing that I’m the one who many of my friends, family and oddly enough even strangers seem to ask me my advice on many things. I think many of us can say there’s that one family member, friend, colleague or person in our life that we like to talk to and confide in on certain things going on in our life. Whether they seem to be a good listener or always seem to have some good advice that doesn’t come off as judgmental or their advice just seems to resonate with us, having someone like this in our lives in a sense helps to balance our thoughts and not feel alone in our endeavors. I encourage everyone when your thoughts seems boggled or you seem down like there’s no way out to talk to someone you trust. Before things get worse and you hold in, talk to someone you trust. There are many cases where tragic events happened which left everyone shocked because no one knew what this person was going through. They didn’t let anyone know it was that bad. We all go through things and life sometimes takes its toll and can seem overwhelming, you are not alone. I find when I get to a point of feeling overwhelmed, I talk to someone I know that I can get things off mind too. Who do […]

What is Healthypreneurship?

Posted: March 15, 2017 at 3:54 am   /   healthypreneurship

Healthypreneurship. What is Healthypreneurship you may be asking. It is applying a healthy lifestyle when it comes to pursuing entrepreneurial activities. This is in how we deal with relationships whether personal or business. It is also how we deal with the emotional, mental, physical and social challenges that many Entrepreneurs face on a daily basis. I feel whether we are a newbie or experienced entrepreneur we generally see one side of what it means to be an entrepreneur. These things include the struggle as far as pursuing our goals in regards to failures and successes, the success side of becoming wealthy and even tips and advice from experts in making our dreams a reality. We may also see some content in regards to the internal challenges that are faced, but I don’t feel it is much out there that is truly dedicated to this particular aspect. The goal of Healthypreneurship is to provide a community that any Entrepreneur at any level can come and discuss the internal challenges they face. This in turn provides inspiration, encouragement, conversation and networking with others using one’s own experiences of challenges one has faced and how they overcame it. Or one may even be currently dealing with a challenge and may want to share and get advice or encouragement from others who are living life as an Entrepreneur. Healthypreneurship is also a place where any level of Entrepreneurs can be featured and interviewed about their business, some of the challenges they face and how […]

Do You Control What You Wear or Does It Control You?

Posted: February 27, 2017 at 2:51 am   /   appearance

Enclothed Cognition? What is that you may be asking. Scientist claim this as “…the symbolic meaning of the clothes and the physical experience of wearing them.” For women, we all have that favorite shirt, dress, pants and shoes we put on and feel confident in. For men, you may have that fav shirt, pants, shoes or suit you feel confident in. Have you noticed maybe when you dress up for a special occasion how you feel? Maybe you feel confident, feel like you look great and are in a good mood. What about how you feel when you put on casual clothes. Do you feel more relaxed? Have you noticed maybe you walk and hold yourself dependent on what you have on? This is just a thought and I encourage you to share your opinion. I think that we may not really think about how we dress affects our self-image. We may not consciously think about it, but upon reflecting, I can say there could be some truth to it. There was a point in my life where I didn’t really care too much about dressing up, but wore my casual jeans, shirt and shoes, put my hair up in a ponytail and went about my day. Not saying I felt negative about my self-image but I did find myself more laid back, didn’t really care what others thought and just not so much into how I look. I was at a point where I was making some life changes […]

Difficult People

Posted: February 27, 2017 at 2:16 am   /   difficult dealings

Dealing with Difficult People is one of those things most of us may find the last thing we want to have to deal with. As if dealing with every day challenges of going to work, paying bills, raising children, pursuing goals and the many other things we face every day isn’t enough. Now maybe there are those who may have never dealt with a difficult person before. Now that would be something and I may need some tips from you, but most of us have at some point in our life. How did you deal with such a difficult person? Did you choose to avoid confronting that person and just feel miserable every time you were around them? Did you speak up and let them know how you felt? It can be a difficult situation considering who this difficult person may be. Are they a family member? a friend? coworker? colleague? or even worse a boss? Consider that maybe even you find yourself uncomfortable around someone, maybe they are critical of everything you do and you brush it off, or they may even seem to always have something to say in opposition of what you say. You find yourself thinking “Why is this person constantly doing these things?” You may not have even considered that they are a difficult person, but these are some traits I consider to be a difficult person. How do we deal with difficult people? There are various ways to deal with difficult people. You’re probably […]

They Touched My Life (and didn’t even know it)

Posted: February 27, 2017 at 2:15 am   /   inspirational

We’ve all had them days when we hear our alarm go off in the morning. We check the time and tell ourselves “I’m going to stay laying down for just a couple more minutes” and hit the snooze button. Before we know it, the alarm is going off again and we check the time knowing we have to get up or we’ll be late. Back to the same routine, work, eat then sleep and do it all over again the next day. Some may have to get the kids off to school or daycare, then after work pick them up and run other errands or think about what to cook for that night. We all may have various worries like bills to pay, things to get done (which never seems to be enough time) and just personal issues to deal with as well. The many life challenges we all deal with can sometimes bring stress and just not being in a good mood at all when we wake up in the morning. Though we have different things we all deal with which can put us in a bad mood. I would believe we have all experienced being out and about with our day and randomly someone or something brightened our day. We weren’t looking for it or expecting it, but that smile and “Hey you doing alright” by a stranger catches us off guard and brings a smile upon our face. I remember one early morning, heading to work, thinking […]
